Mercier Therapy is a gentle external deep pelvic organ visceral manipulation technique focused on restoring blood flow, movement and proper positioning of the uterus and ovaries. This visceral manipulative technique is done abdominally and is a natural means of promoting fertility by optimizing the functions of the reproductive organs, increasing the blood flow to the pelvic region and releasing scar tissue.
It is non-invasive, more cost effective than IVF and more emotionally supportive for the couple. You are actively participating in your fertility journey and being in control of the process. The program is custom-tailored to each individual woman's situation.
Mercier Therapy can be used as a stand alone regime or in preparation for a more medically assisted cycle such as IVF, or IUI.
When choosing to start the Shared Journey Fertility Program you will receive 6 hours of Mercier Therapy broken down into 1-hour intervals per week for 6 weeks, education and a year of follow up cycle tracking. I can refer you to local fertility clinics and practitioners should you need a more in depth medical evaluation.
You can choose to do the program by itself or in preparation for a medically assisted cycle such as IVF or IUI. It is highly recommended that you prepare your body properly prior to starting any medically assisted fertility cycle to help ensure a successful first cycle.
The first step is an Initial Consultation to see if the program is a good fit for you.
Before the consultation, you will receive information about the program and an intake form to complete before your visit. When scheduling your consultation please make sure to allow 60 minutes and bring any medical records and/or lab results that may be helpful when discussing your history.
During your consultation a pelvic organ mobility evaluation will be done. After we are done you may purchase the program and schedule your 6 additional sessions.

What is the cost for the initial consultation?
The cost for the 60-minute Initial Consultation is $200.
What if I conceive during the 6 sessions?
Should you conceive we will save the remaining sessions for postpartum. Mercier Therapy is great for recovering from pregnancy.
What is the difference between Mercier Therapy and fertility abdominal massage?
It's very different. Fertility abdominal massage is a very superficial massage technique. Mercier Therapy is a more medically based technique and it is a protocol or program. We work deeper and manipulate the pelvic organs with the goal to restore movement and blood circulation.
Why can't I just book one session at a time like massage?
After many years of research and developing the technique, Dr. Jennifer Mercier has found that the way she structured the program is how to achieve the best outcomes for fertility and other pelvic disfunctions. Do you accept medical insurance?
I do not take insurance in my practice. Full payment is expected at the time of your visit. I do accept flex spending accounts (FSA) or health savings accounts (HSA) which makes things easier for you if you have either of these options.
